Love Love Love decorating...

Because of my love for decorating and especially decorating seasonally, I thought I would show you some of my favorite Halloween and fall decorations of my home. I love this little tree. The picture doesnt do it justice. When the lights are on in the evening it looks so eerie. I got the cute little-not to scary skeleton ornaments at Sister Garden. (anyone who knows me, knows thats my favorite place in the world to shop) and the tree came from my very good friend Bonnie at Outside In. (located just downstairs from our shop)
The Boo garland also came from Sisters Garden. I love black and orange especially when paired with white!
This picture is in my dining room. The bittersweet came from our store as well as the mini white pumpkins.
This light up pumpkin is probably my favorite Halloween decoration. I have had it forever and it is soooo cute lit up at night. Again the picture just doesnt do it justice!! The old window is from my in-laws house from years ago when they did a remodel. We found it in the old shed, I am so glad they didnt throw it away!!!!

These are just a few of my favorites. I hope you enjoyed the tour!!!!

Pumpkin purses

These adorable purses are made by the very talented Susan Mast. She uses only vintage clutch purses to add to the charm. This wouldnt have to be used as just a purse ... think outside the box.

Please listen to this!

As we all know, today is September 11th and this is a day that brings up so many memories and emotions. As I was driving to the shop this morning, I heard the most touching and amazing thing. I was brought to tears and couldnt stop thinking about it all day. If you would like to be touched just go to www.life1019.com . When on the home page, go to "on the air" and click on mornings with Brent and Julia and click on Remembering Sept. 11 2001. Then click on "hear it with this link."
Just have your tissues handy. It WILL move you and make you think.
God Bless

Thank you!!!!!

Oh my goodness! I cant even tell you how excited I am about the American Cancer Society candle we are selling! First of all, I never imagined we would sell 50 of them in two days! (We are currently out of stock, but we will have more made and ready to sell by the weekend) Here is a picture of the jar style and our merci label (that means "thanks" in french)! What you cant see is the top of the lid that has a black and white vintage looking chandelier. I am soo happy with how these turned out. And as for the scent- it is AMAZING!!! We hope to raise lots of money for the ACS and with your help we will!!!!! Merci

More pics from fall open house!

Here are more pictures of our store all decked out for fall! I love the Santos heads! They would be an awesome halloween decoration cause they are kind of eerie and have a vintage look to them. The teacups and saucers are filled with pumpkin cheesecake and sell for only 13.99. You could burn the candle and then use the adorable cup for tea later.

The burlap pillow cushions and pillow covers are 1/2 off even though they are brand new to the store! We have MAJOR overstock on these items. I have the pillow covers on my outdoor pillow cushions and they are so cute on the porch! They are very durable too! When these are gone, their gone, so hurry in and get yours.
These black and white canvas prints speak for themselves! I love them all! Did I mention that they are ONLY 14.00 a piece!!!
