Junk Jubilee Finds & Other New Additions....

Last Friday, the hubs and I headed West
to Des Moines for the very first
It was soooo amazingly awesome!
There were about 35 or so vendors
(which may not seem very big to some of you, but for their very first year, I think its great!)
in the 4-H building at the
State Fair Grounds.
Seriously...
the amount of talent and creativity out there
BLOWS my mind!
It was almost sensory overload,
so I had to do a few walk throughs
so I wouldn't miss anything!

I of course did get some new things for the store,
but I thought I would just show you some of the things
I had to have for myself!

I love decorating with fun and unique things....
I HAD to have this old milk crate
that I upcycled into a wine bottle holder.

I added two more seltzer bottles to my collection.

I fell IN LOVE with this lil' pink lamp
with shabby shade!

And then I layed my eyes on this hanging beauty!
She may not seem like much, but I find it
to be interesting and soooo cool!

I hung it over my clawfoot tub
and I couldn't love it more!

This new mantle addition didn't come from Junk Jubilee
but I still wanted to share.
I have wanted a mantle FOREVER
and now I finally have one!
I of course had to paint it white.
Or should I say, Clay painted it white for me!
I still owe him 20 bucks for doing it!

And lastly, this white rocker with burlap seat.
It fits perfectly in this spot next to the piano.

Believe you me, If money were no object,
there would have been a WHOLE lot more to show you!
I hope that they plan on doing this every year!
It's so nice to have something like this so close to home!

If you are curious to see what I found for the store,
you will have to stop in soon!
