Friday night, my Grandma went to be with Jesus.
It was time.
I saw her draw her last breath.
It was heartbreaking and beautiful all at the same time.
She suffered from Alzheimers and for the last
year and a half,
she has been in a nursing home.

It is so bittersweet.
Of course we want her here with us.
But now her body is whole and she is dancing with her Lord.

Things I love and will miss about her....
She had the patience of a Saint.  She would spend hours playing games with us as children and never made us feel like she had more important things to be doing.  Her noodle pancakes.  Her warm smile.  Her A-MAZING sugar cookies that she always had for us.
The way she made me feel so special and loved.
There are so many more things I could say about her.
Like...
How artistic she was with all of her beautiful paintings.
She could sew anything.
How beautifully she played the piano.
(She was my piano teacher and also my Sunday School teacher.)
She was a women of many talents.
She loooooved her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren with her whole heart
and
we all loved her.

I'm sad that her life on earth is over, but I'm so happy she is with Jesus and she is no longer suffering.

BYCC will be closed on Wednesday, April 20th,
so that we can attend her funeral.
Thank you for your understanding.

Tricia

What a beautiful tribute to your Grandma. I'm sure she is very proud of each and every one of you. The memories that she etched in your heart will last a lifetime. Wishing you a short road of sorrow and a unending path of beautiful memories.

I used to work with your Aunt Beth at Motorola.

My heart aches for you and your family. The pain never goes away but the joy of her love never does either!
